The HONEYWELL part 11CX12 is a MICRO SWITCH„¢ Hazardous Location Switch designed for use in environments with potentially explosive gases or dust. It features an epoxy-coated aluminum short housing and a side rotary actuator for easy operation. The switch has a maintained action and includes two single pole double throw (SPDT) basic switches.The switch can handle a current of 15 A at 125, 250, or 480 Vac and has a NEMA 1, 3, 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 13, and IP66 seal rating, ensuring protection against dust, water, and corrosion. It can operate in temperatures ranging from -25 °C to 85 °C (-13 °F to 185 °F).The switch features two 3/4 inch - 14 NPT conduit terminations for easy installation. It is approved for use in hazardous locations according to NEMA 7 (Class I, Div. 1 & 2, Groups C & D) and NEMA 9 (Class II, Div. 1 & 2, Groups E, F, & G) standards. The switch is UL and CSA approved and also includes an internal ground screw for added safety.
