<p>Photointerrupters are devices used to detect rotation or linear movement of an object. Interruption of the light beam is utilized as an indicator to point whether there is an object between the source of light and the detector. Photointerrupters combine optical receiving and transmitting functions. Their potential applications include vending machines, copiers and printers.</p> <p>HOA0880-T51 Photointerrupter from Honeywell comes with accurate position sensing and phototransistor output. This Photoelectric Sensor belongs to HOA088 series which consists of an infrared emitting diode encased in a black thermoplastic housing. Devices from this series have a choice of detector aperture and opaque or IR transmissive housings. This Honeywell Photosensor employs a built-in strain relief for maximum wire attachment strength.</p>
